The Biscuits tins are a refined and elegant gift idea, suitable for every occasion and celebration, made even more precious by their content: a selection of biscuits which are perfect for tea time. Since 1890, Gentilini has used sophisticated boxes to contain and preserve its biscuits, which with the passing of time, have become true witnesses of the historical, stylistic and social changes of a century.
Many samples have been produced, each according to the taste and the iconographic precepts of the time. That switched from the Art Nouveau style, that is full of decorations, of floral elements and sinuosity of relief items, to Art Deco, that rediscovered symmetrical structures, with composite and decentralized shapes up to the dry, clean and austere lines with sober and cold colours after World War II.
The love for these works of art lasts forever and in fact, beautiful lithographed boxes are still being made for the Biscuit tin.
